Summary

The "22" Wildland Fire Use has achieved the resource objectives planned by fire managers on May 6. The total acreage accomplished on this event was 1,255 acres. Cold, wet weather is approaching today and will persist for several days. Personnel will monitor the fire perimeter for any hot spots.

Fire managers are pleased with the results of this wildland fire use event and the resource objectives that were met. The resource benefits to this area include hazardous fuels reduction, cultural resources and wildlife habitat protection and forest health improvement.
