The Blue 2 Fire and the Siskiyou Fire are now being managed as one complex under one management strategy by the Organ/California Incident Management Team lead by Indicent Commander Ken Paul.

Fuels Involved

10 Timber (litter and understory) FM 9, FM10 and FM4. Heavy timber and heavy brush, and some regeneration in old fire scars. Hardwood litter under the canopies. Plantations directly southwest of fire perimeter.

Fire Behavior

Smoldering and creeping, with isolated torching and active backing where crews are performing fiing operations.

Significant Events

Crews continued to monitor fire progression in the Crescent City Creek drainage. Division M/N, held and monitored line previously fired on the G-O Trail. Divisions J,K,and l monitored fire movement, prepared contingency lines and coordinating indirect operations,strategy and tactics with Cooperating/Assisting agencies and with Siskiyou fire Divisions

Crews will continue to monitor fire progression in the Crescent City Fork drainage. Division M/N willl hold and monitor previously fired line along the G-O Trail.
