Sand Shed Wildland Fire

Summary

The Sand Shed fire started 10 miles north of Gooding today along Highway 46. While the cause remains unkown and under investigation, crews are actively engaged in fire surpression. There are currently 12 engines, one helicopter, air attack, two single engine air tanker, one dozer, two heavy air tankers two water tenders and Gooding Rural Fire Department fighting the blaze.

Gooding and Lincoln County officials are on scene to help with evacuations of private ranches along fire path.
