Summary

On August 8, 2008, lightning started the Snow Hole Fire, which is burning south of the Salmon River. The fire is approximately twelve miles southwest of Cottonwood, Idaho and is burning in the Home Sweet Home, Burnt Creek, Kylie Creek, and Ruggles Gulch drainages.
