Planned Actions

Continue to Contain, hold, and mop up fires as well, handheld devices are being used to determined whether heat(Burning Material) exists beneath the surface. Once the checking for heat has been completed, fire suppression rehabilitation begins. Firefighting action taken to put out wildfires such as building firelines or using roads, parking, and camping areas generally causes some site disturbances. These disturbed areas will be rehabilitated to mitigate their environmental impacts. For example, waterbars will be constructed to prevent erosion and topsoil will be replaced thus speeding re-vegetation and reducing the visual impact.
